Tanuda
Ridge Vineyard is nestled deep in the heart of Sonoma
County, one of Northern California’s premiere
wine regions and home to the finest Pinot Noir in the
world.
Family
owned and operated by Mike and Lynn Rossman since
2002, the 10.5 acre vineyard yields grapes used by
worldclass winemakers to create some of the most
exclusive wines on the market today.
In
addition to growing grapes, Tanuda Ridge Vineyard
contains extensive lavender
and herb gardens, along
with an abundance of wild blackberries ripe for the
picking.
An
Exclusive Retreat
Tanuda
Ridge Vineyard has proven time and again to be the
ultimate destination for relaxation. Enjoy leisurely
strolls through the lush rows of grapevines. Relax
on a bench overlooking the northern vines and orchard
trees. Explore the varieties of herbs and plantlife
growing throughout the property.
But
the experience doesn't stop there.
There
is an assortment of trails to explore. Follow them
down to the pond. Spread out a blanket and enjoy
a romantic picnic for two in the meadow.
Then
cross
over to Ethan's Island in the middle of the pond
and have a seat among the giant Redwoods. Take
in the tranquility that comes with being surrounded
by water on all sides.
At
Tanuda Ridge Vineyard, you're never far away from
the rest of the world.
It just feels like you are.
Minutes
Away from Town
The
vineyard is located about a mile or so up the road
from charming downtown Occidental. Take in a delicious
meal you will never forget at one of the many family-owned
restuarants. Explore the antique and art shops along
the main road. Spend the evening at one of the bed
and breakfasts or hotels.
Or
head in the opposite direction and tour the towns
of Sebastopol and Graton - then drive to the ocean
and visit Bodega Bay. You can also find Guerneville
and the Russian River - all within fifteen minutes
of the vineyard.
